Cocoa & Canvas: Art Auction and Winter Party Fundraiser

Join us for a warm, cozy winter party and art auction to benefit the Memory Maker Project!

ENJOY an art auction featuring work by local artists living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss, as well as fine artists from Upstate NY, live jazz music by Strange Fangs Song Factory, spiked hot cocoa, mulled wine and cash bar, piping hot soup and other delicious appetizers and desserts. After the art auction, stay for a DJ’d dance party featuring music by Post Modern Juke Box.

This month, guests attending the Meet Me at the Museum program will be hosted to an afternoon of Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) art and culture. A gallery dedicated to Haudenosaunee was added to The Rockwell’s permanent collection galleries in November of 2017. The program will include a gallery discussion with the Memory Maker Project, Native American drumming and singing with Sandra and Joseph Windwalker and the making of memory necklaces led by Barb and Bob Wood. The afternoon will include light refreshments.
